A Foodies Fall…..

Sept.16           The Night is Young, 3 course table d’Hote as well as tickets to the show at the Almonte Old Town Hall!

Sept. 30         Kelly Sloan provides a tribute to Tom Waits.  Enjoy an evening of themed food and wonderful music.  Doors open at 6pm, show and dinner at 7pm.  This event is limited to 30 seats, be sure to book early!

Monday to Friday Home Meal Delivery Operates – for info see seniors meals

Tuesday to Friday Lunch served from 11:30am – 2pm

Saturday Brunch Served from 10am-2pm

(call ahead for reservations if groups are larger than 8 people)

Sundays and Mondays CLOSED

Foodies will be closed July 20- 27th for Family  vacation

Summer is wedding season and we are almost fully booked,  if you would like to place an advance dinner order or custom catering or pick-up please call and check for availability and selections.

Holiday Hours

Happy Holidays Foodies!
 
Due to a large number of last minute caterings we will not be able to offer lunch and dinner service this week. The shop is open for greens pick-up, gift certificates and Granny Argue’s Quiche (home made and only $14~ quantities limited) from 12-3pm today and tomorrow.
 
Join us for a cup of cheer at our annual “Open House” on Thursday the 23 from 6-9pm.  Cash bar.
 
We are closed for regular service from now till January 4 when we will have a new menu! 
We’re not on holidays, we’re catering so if you really need us, knock loudly we might be there!
 
 Come out and see us at the Almonte Old Town Hall on the 30th for the Kelly Sloan concert and CD release, tickets at Baker Bob’s.
 
Senior services operate till Thursday the 23rd of December and will re-commence Monday January 3, 2011.

Alright Foodies I’ve been getting calls about brunch…. I’m posting  the menu but remind everyone that we only have 2 Saturdays left in December!  We need to know you want it before it becomes a regular thing :)   Hope to see you on Saturday!

December Events…

Light Up the Night turns 20 this year! Considering our “front row” location we decided to party too! Foodies will have food, music and a liquor license for the occasion. If you want to warm up, have a bite or just listen to the beautiful music Kathryn Briggs and Terry Tufts make together, visit Foodies this Friday, the fun starts at 7pm!

If you can’t make it Friday…. shhhhh, come for brunch on Saturdays in December instead!
Saturdays in December we will offer BRUNCH from 10 am to 2pm,(December 4, 11 and 18th) with different crepe, quiche and soup specials each day to enhance  Christmas Shopping Downtown.
 
Now booking our space for Holiday parties sized 10-30, workshops, dinners and cocktail receptions can be arranged.
 
Thursday December 23, Annual Foodies Open House 6-9 pm, this year we hope all Mill Street and Downtown business owners will join us after they close for a few nibblies, some holiday cheer and a chance to get to know other business owners in the area.  Kids and employees are welcome and encouraged to build community.  Cash bar, snacks provided by Foodies.
