Foodies Fact:  Here is the menu from now till Christmas.  We wish you and all of your loved ones the very best of the season.  We will close at 2pm on Thursday December 24 and will re-open Tuesday December 29.  Foodies will close again from 2pm on Thursday December 31 and will re-open with a new menu format January 5, 2010.  Thanks for eating Foodies, we’re looking forward to feeding you in year 2!

Wednesday December 16

Soup:   Chicken Corn Chowder

Lunch 1:  Loaded Baked Potato (Bacon, chives, cheese & sour cream) with green salad

Lunch 2:  Pork Po’boy on a bun  with soup

Dinner 1:  Orange Beef stir-fry on rice w/ crispy won tons

Dinner 2:  Poached White fish in citrus cream sauce, rice and vegetables

 

 Thursday December 17

Soup:  Steak & Roasted Tomato

Lunch 1:  Grilled Ham & Gouda on Rye with soup

Lunch 2:  Classic Mac & Cheese w/ toast

Dinner 1:  Beer Braised Pot roast of Pork w/ apples and onion, Mashed potato & veggies

Dinner 2:  Baked Macaroni Pomodoro (roast tomato sauce) with cheese, green salad & garlic bread

Soup:  Kitchen sink

Lunch 1:  Open-faced Tuna melt with soup

Lunch 2:  Greek Pasta Salad with garlic cheese bread

Dinner 1: Friday Night Ribs, Rosemary Mashed and seasonal vegetables

Dinner 2:  Curried Lamb shank, Rosemary Mashed and green salad

 

Monday December 21

Lunch 1: Perogies with bacon and onions

Lunch 2: Beef & Brie sandwich w/ soup

Dinner 1:  Chicken Marsala, pasta aioli and garden greens

Dinner 2:   Potato Vindaloo with basmati rice, greens and Naan bread

Lunch 1: Brie and vegetable Quiche with salad

Lunch 2:  Soup & Salad Combo

Dinner 1:  Aretha Franklin’s Ham w/ scalloped potato and vegetables

Dinner 2:  Seafood Alfredo with green salad and garlic loaf

 

Wednesday December 23

Soup:  Beef and Barley

Lunch 1:  Grilled Swisse & Apple and soup

Lunch 2:  Italian meat & pesto pressed sandwich with soup

Dinner 1:   Pan seared Chicken with Orange ginger sauce, potato and veggies

Dinner 2:  Pan Seared pork chops with spiced rum cream sauce, potato and veggies

 

Thursday December 24  -  Closing at 2pm for Christmas Eve.  Happy Holidays!
